Isabel Wong x Urban Travel

Urban Travel + Isabel Wong is a collaboration of two independent British brands bringing their creativity and innovative ideas together. Their story began with a chance meeting in a concept store in London, an exchange of contact and soon after a partnership was born.

Urban Travel's ethical ethos and practical design elements complemented by Isabel Wong's minimalist design approach has ensured a wearable and transitional collection of luxury handbags. A capsule collection inspired by the concept of continual line - combining geometrical shape and subtle curves and folds create an contrast of softness and structure, while maintaining a clean aesthetic through carefully considered materials and finishings. A consideration for durability, practicality and high quality attributes without compromising on the design. These bags are made in London from high quality Italian vegetable tanned leather complete with premium gold plated hardware for an extra touch of luxury - a final product that is long lasting, robust yet elegant.

OUR PROCESS
"The pre-collection is an experimentation of various handbag styles, proportions and materials. The objective of this trial was to open up the opportunity to thoroughly explore the design potential and to gain an in depth perspective of two different, yet complementary creative minds. These prototypes have enabled us to develop a more refined capsule collection and finally produce a unique product that truly represents our brand.

Our aim is to create small accessory items where design, practicality and wearability are imperative. Equally as important is our choice to source materials and production as ethically as possible. We have been meticulous with every process from the  design stages to the more technical aspects of the making of our products; with a lot of trial and error to ensure we can offer a high quality, well considered product at a cost that is reflective of this but one that is also within affordability. We hope our hard work and creativity can be truly appreciated"
